Akira Asada (Kyoto University)
Akira Asada is associate professor at Institute of Economic Research, Kyoto University, who writes and speaks in arts, media, architecture and philosophy. He is widely recognized as one of the most influential post-modern theorists in Japan. He was a regular member of ANY, the international architects' conference that bridges architecture and philosophy. His publication includes 'Structure and Power', 'Anyone - Issues in globalization' (with Arata Isozaki), and 'New Urban Conditions'.
